Almost 25% of COVID-19 Patients Develop Long-Term Symptoms

Long-COVID is a condition that is stumping doctors across the globe. Many people have been developing long term symptoms and the cause of that is unknown at this time. A study found that almost 25% of people that were once infected with the problem develop at least one lingering health problem. The most common of these symptoms include pain, trouble breathing, high cholesterol, fatigue, and high blood pressure. However, these symptoms vary by gender, and women are more likely to develop Long COVID when compared to men.
