Though there has been an increase in the rate of long COVID, many sufferers are still dismissed on their illness and symptoms by health professionals. There are a number of clinics and facilities opening up long COVID focused treatments to help those in need, but at the same time there is a growing variant that is pulling professionals away from those six weeks to six months post-diagnosis with COVID-19. It seems that 1/3 of COVID patients become “Long Haulers”
