The proportion of coronavirus tests that are positive in Israel is still rising, according to Health Ministry statistics published Monday. Even as Israel works frantically to boost immunization rates, the rate of coronavirus detections is climbing.
According to data from the ministry, 7.81 percent of 91,051 tests conducted on Sunday produced a positive result, the highest proportion since mid-February. On Sunday, 6,576 new cases were found for the second straight day, following 7201 on Saturday and 8579 on Friday.
