COVID Long Haulers patients have recently gotten more attention. Now research and studies have shown that one out of four persons who acquire COVID-19 will continue to suffer from persistent symptoms and become COVID Long Haulers.
Although researchers are yet unable to identify the physical explanations for these persistent symptoms, it’s clear that COVID Long Haul and its symptoms are not psychosomatic: they have a physiological cause. Persistent malfunction in inflammatory or immune responses triggered by the initial illness or injury are among the possible causes.
