Researchers Believe They Have Found Cause of COVID Long Haulers

This month, researchers at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences announced that they’ve discovered an antibody that appears weeks after a coronavirus infection and might be responsible for COVID Long Haulers. This antibody, known as an “auto-antibody,” may be triggering an autoimmune response in some individuals who have contracted the coronavirus.

According to a study, the immune system of someone who has been infected with coronavirus produces an antibody to fight off Covid-19. Researchers discovered, however, that in some patients, the body subsequently creates a second antibody in response to the production
