Children’s doctors around the world are perplexed by long COVID’s effects. Over the previous six months, there hasn’t been much new discovered in terms of symptoms, length, or severity because everyone is reacting to long COVID differently.
There are at least 200 symptoms that may occur during prolonged COVID in adults, and the most typical in children is labored breathing, chronic tiredness, and palpitations of the heart. Professionals still struggle to determine when long COVID starts in our youth and how long it will take to clear up these symptoms.
To date, there have been no long-term studies of COVID in children. Many children with long COVID had little or no symptoms during the early stage of infection, or didn’t realize they had the virus in the first place.
