United Kingdom May Have Over 2 Million COVID Long Haulers

A survey was conducted on half of a million adults in England and found that many are suffering from COVID Long Haulers. It has been a challenge to manage the long-term symptoms and the government funded $50 million to continue research on COVID Long Haulers.

This was a self-reported survey and showed that:

  • 37% of the patients reported one symptom lasting 12 weeks or longer
  • 15% of patients reported from suffering 3-4 symptoms 12 weeks or longer
  • Long-term symptoms were reported more with women than men.
