More than 128 million people worldwide have contracted COVID-19 and in the US alone, more than 30 million Americans have been infected. Some are still recovering and an estimated 2 million long-haul survivors are still experiencing crippling symptoms.
Anxiety and fatigue are among of the highest symptoms that patients experience that keeps them from daily activities like working out. Followed by some more severe symptoms like headaches and loss of focus which keeps some Coloradans out of work.
In Colorado, doctors have noticed a third of the patients being examined for long-haul and it is seen that it varies from person to person. There is still a lot to learn about the long-term impacts of COVID-19 as well as the journey to recovery.
