The Biden Administration still seeks additional funding to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Of the $32.5 billion they seek, $22.5 billion of that is related to this pandemic and preparation for pandemics to come. It is possible that if this request is not approved, treatments, vaccines, and tests will not be secured.
