College Students Feel “Slow” After COVID

There appears to be a decrease in mental capacity among university students as long-term Covid remains in the thousands of young people exposed to its residual effects. Students are returning to schools and colleges, and in the long term requiring “additional support” due to COVID.

The present disability infrastructure is underfunded and misunderstood in many colleges, schools will need to reconsider systems they have in place for these students, disability experts said especially in COVID. According to NBC News’ count, total Covid cases in the United States have surpassed 40 million, and studies indicate that up to 10% of those who had Covid could be suffering from COVID Long Haulers.

Many students claim “ they don’t learn like they used to” to even “struggling with focusing in the classroom”.
