A medical study from Stanford University shows that 1 in 3 COVID-19 survivors are dealing with some type of “brain disorders”.
Dr. Joanna Hellmuth, a neurologist from UCSF describes people are having “crushing headaches” as well as severe cognitive symptoms.
Dr. Hellmuth expresses how Long COVID may really impact people and she is seeing this more often in teens. Constant headaches, vertigo and confusion is prevalent and alarming on what the studies are showing in “brain disorders” that are coming after a mild case of COVID-19.
Not enough information yet, but Stanford’s Doctor, Grace Lee says precautions and vaccines are just as important when facing these long COVID threats.
