“Long” Covid symptoms affecting 10-30% finally get official name

People haven’t fully recovered within weeks or even months after contracting the coronavirus. This condition is called “long-haulers” and a medical college in Wisconsin is officially calling this post-acute sequele.

An estimate between 10-30% of people who contracted Covid-19 has fallen into post-acute sequele. This illness falls into the prolong symptoms of COVID-19 which includes prolonged tiredness, shortness of breath and cognitive impairment.
