An instructor of Harvard Medical School in medicine developed a new program to gauge the condition and what awaits after COVID-19.
Long-Haulers is being referred to as “post-acute sequelae of COVID-19” and is labeled if one suffers from persistent and new symptoms that develop after the initial infection of COVID-19. Groups of patients are being followed due to time on how long they are feeling these symptoms as well as which symptoms they have.
Jason Maley, the instructor is also dividing and studying various groups of ages starting with teenagers to individuals in their 50’s. There are many observations and theories still unproven even after doing clinical research and helping over 300 patients.
