Men and Women Get Covid Long Haulers Differently?

Researchers at the McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas are studying blood samples from COVID patients. The researchers hope to find clues about identifying new virus strains and what long symptoms after COVID look like. They have 700 patients enrolled, and so far they’ve discovered that men may have more severe infections leading to hospitalization and death, while women react differently.

Doctors and scientists hope these advancements will help with early intervention down the road.
