Covid-19 patients are still battling and struggling with symptoms eight months after being infected. Youth and children are not protected either from the debilitating effects of long-haul symptoms.
An Australian study shoes one in three Covid-19 patients are suffering long after their initial diagnosis and 32 percent of 81 patients that were diagnosed are still feeling ill 240 days post-infection.
An additional 19 percent still meet the criteria for debilitating long haul Covid-19 symptoms at the eighth month mark. These symptoms include:
