A small study finds that a type of laser treatment my hold “promise” for those suffering from COVID-19 long haulers. A study led by Nanyang Technological University in Singapore have learned that people recovering from COVID-19 may be at risk of developing blood clots. COVID-19 has been seen to have various symptoms and just like the severity, it may vary from patient to patient. The neurological symptoms are some of the worse for patients such as headaches and loss of smell and taste. Some are exploring and investigating if dizziness and vertigo are some of the symptoms one may suffer from COVID-19. The way COVID-19 attacks the body may give us clues to why dizziness is a symptom. In Madrid, Spain people are describing a “mental mist” as it is hard to concentrate and suffer from permanent fatigue after surviving COVID-19. Doctors call this post-COVID syndrome, or “Long Haul”.  The Spanish Society of General and Family Physicians interviews 2,120 people and found in 1,834 had symptoms compatible with the profile of “long-haul”. The most typical paient was a 43 year-old woman with 36 symptoms on average.
