The University of Arizona School of medicine noticed patients with serious illnesses are avoiding urgently needed care due to the fear of contracting COVID-19.
Fewer people are showing up for care and these individuals are suffering from heart attacks, strokes and other chronic illnesses that need medical attention.
The end result that many are simply dying from the neglect of their pre-existing ailment or serious compromised health because they are scared to get the virus. Even though these people are not dying from COVID, they are dying from the fear of attracting COVID at hospitals and clinics.
