A study in Stockholm showed fifteen percent of healthcare workers who recovered from mild cases of COVID-19 reported having at least one severe symptom interrupting their professional and work life as far past 8 months.
323 participants who were positive with mild illness reported 26% had a symptom lasting at least two months while 15% reported having one to two severe symptoms lasting for 8 months or more.
The most common symptoms lasting longer than 2 months included fatigue, lost of smell or taste and shortness of breath.
