A study on COVID long-hauler patients showed some continued symptoms weeks and even months after infection.
Researchers from University College London say COVID long-haulers are reporting 200 different symptoms following their illness. The study finds these long-term symptoms affect 10 different organ systems, and many of those problems linger for 6 months or more.
Researchers monitored over 3,500 patients in 56 countries including the 203 long hauler symptoms. The 66 most common illnesses were studied for 7 months and prevalence found to be up to 14-30% after 12 weeks of illness.
