New travel restrictions were published by the Biden administration on Monday, including higher vaccination requirements for non-vaccinated US citizens and a few exemptions for foreign visitors.
The requirement that unvaccinated US citizens and long-term residents present a negative Covid test taken a day before re-entering the country will go into effect on November 8, while unvaccinated foreign nationals will be able to enter only in specific instances as an administration official said Monday. On October 31, fully vaccinated Americans will have to undergo testing three days before traveling abroad.
