The “Long-Hauler” term and effects are becoming more common as time passes with Covid-19. Several weeks after an initial infection there is a third of the population who contracted the coronavirus still suffering from symptoms.
Everything is still new with researchers and doctors trying to collect data with those who are experience these “Long-Haul” symptoms. At the same time some are reporting to actually recovering after receiving their first vaccine shot.
One Charlotte woman lost her taste and smell in March of 2020 and has regain some capabilities after her first dose of the vaccine.
There is still more research and investigation that needs to take place but experts encourage the vaccine to support those suffering from long-haul symptoms due to Covid-19.
