What about children and COVID Long Haulers?
Doctors have seen that many children are exhibiting no noticeable symptoms at the time of contracting COVID, but are later diagnosed with lingering symptoms that persist past two weeks. They are now COVID Long Haulers and researchers can’t figure out why.
Most of the symptoms that kids exhibit are similar to adults such as:
- Chronic fatigue
- muscle/joint pain
- Respiratory issues
- Ongoing headaches
There is no COVID Long Haulers test for patients. For now, doctors must work by with listening to patient symptoms and document if there is any change or unusual behavior.
