Covid will ‘probably’ become a seasonal virus, like the flu, Walensky says

Although cases are falling throughout the nation, the CDC says that the coronavirus is most likely going to stay and will behave similar to the flu, a seasonal sickness. They are hopeful that the most recent surge will be the last real surge that we see coming from this virus. Masks are not as necessary as they once were, but experts warn that they could make a comeback. Whichever way the virus goes, scientists are confident that they can respond more efficiently this time around.
