Hong Kong delays mass COVID-19 testing plan as deaths rise

Carrie Lam, the leader of Hong Kong, is prioritizing the reduction of deaths related to the infection. She announced earlier that she wanted to implement citywide testing although there is no timeline for when that may happen. She plans to keep those that test positive in quarantine in an effort to protect the population. The city plans to treat those that are positive within a central location.
