Survivors of Covid-19 are struggling to return to their normal life before they were infected. Roughly 8.4 million people fall into the “long-haulers” category. As of now, there are no clear guidelines in regard to how this special population should be treated. Many patients that arrive at these specialized clinics were once turned away from providers that dismissed their claims, attributing it to being “all in their head.”
