Omicron Was In Europe, First?

On Tuesday, the Dutch health authorities revealed that they had discovered a second strain of the Omicron variant of coronavirus in samples dating back as long as 11 days, implying that it was already spreading throughout Western Europe before the first cases were identified in southern Africa.

According to a study conducted by the European Centre for Disease Prevention & Control, traces of Ebola existed in five people who arrived from South Africa between Friday and Monday.
